GENERAL SLATWALL FAQ

How many panels and trims come in 1 box of 4 x 8 ft Slatwall?

Each box of 4x8 ft Slatwall comes with 10 individual slat panels, 1 x 95.75" bottom trim, 2 x 48.75" side trims, and 1 x 95.75" top trim.

Is it possible to install Proslat Slatwall on a concrete block wall?

Install Slatwall on concrete or block walls by fastening 2 x 3 in. studs vertically at 16 in. (when using PVC) or 24 in. (when using Procore, Procore+, or Aluminum) using cement screws. Use 1-1⁄2’’ #8 pan head screws (not included) to install the panels.

Does Proslat Slatwall work exclusively with Proslat accessories?

Yes, Proslat Slatwall panels are specifically designed to be compatible with Proslat hooks and accessories. This means that you can confidently use Proslat accessories with Proslat Slatwall panels, ensuring a seamless and secure fit.

What tools are required for Slatwall installation?

The tools needed for installing Slatwall typically include a measuring tape, level, drill, screws (appropriate for the wall type), and a saw for cutting panels, such as a circular saw, jigsaw, or table saw. A circular saw with a fine-toothed blade or a jigsaw with a plastic-cutting blade can provide precise cuts, while a table saw with a high-tooth-count blade can be used for straight cuts.

Can I combine PVC Slatwall with Procore, Procore+ and/or Aluminum Slatwall?

Each category of Slatwall must be installed independently, they are not made to interlock with one another.

What are the recommended cleaning methods for maintaining Proslat panels?

To clean Proslat panels, simply wipe them down with a damp cloth for regular maintenance. For larger cleaning tasks, such as an entire wall installation, the panels can be hosed down with water.

What is the PVC Slatwall weight capacity?

PVC Slatwall can hold up to 75 lbs. per sq.ft.

What colors does PVC Slatwall come in?

PVC Slatwall is available in White, Gray, Charcoal (dark gray), and Sandstone.

What is PVC Slatwall made of?

Proslat PVC Slatwall is made from 90% recycled PVC, the front of the Slatwall panels feature virgin PVC.

Where are Proslat Cabinets made, and what are they made of?

Proslat Fusion, LUX and Barrett-Jackson® Edition Cabinets are proudly manufactured in North America, showcasing our dedication to quality. Manufactured from heavy-duty 18-gauge steel, these cabinets offer superior durability and strength. Additionally, all our cabinet doors and drawer facades feature a dual-walled construction.

Do the Proslat Cabinets have to be secured to the wall?

Yes, our cabinets are designed to be secured to the wall and are not made to be free standing.

Does the Proslat Cabinets offer lock options for added security?

Yes, our cabinets come with locks and keys for added security for your stored items.

Are the shelves adjustable, and how much weight can they hold?

Proslat Cabinet shelves are easily adjustable. Each shelf is designed to safely support up to an impressive 200 lbs. This robust capacity provides ample strength and reliability to store a variety of items with confidence.

What are the interior drawer dimensions?

Small drawer size (WxHxD): 37" x 4" x 20"
Large drawer size (WxHxD): 37" x 12.5" x 20"

What other cabinet modules are available?

We offer a multitude of cabinet modules from sinks, to corner cabinets and appliances such as beverage centers. Customize your cabinet configuration by using our free desgin center here.

Are the cabinets assembled?

Proslat Cabinets are fully welded with minimal assembly, doors and handles come separately from the cabinet modules.

What colors are available?

Choose from our standard colors: Black, Traffic Red, Traffic Gray and then Silver (only for handles). We also have a selection of hand painted premium colors, that come with a one time fee of $395: Pure White, Zinc Yellow, Bright Red orange, Pure Green, Window Gray, Sky Blue and Signal Blue.

What are the differences between Fusion PLUS and LUX cabinets?

Fusion PLUS cabinets offer a range of standard colors, including premium paint options with glossy finishes. In contrast, LUX cabinets feature rich sandtex textured paint colors and have a fully coordinated design where the body of the cabinets matches the door colors. LUX cabinets also come with a sleek 304-grade stainless steel handle and the possibility of incorporating live edge wood work surfaces.

LUX Cabinets come in the following rich sandtex finishes: Robin Red, Midnight Blue, Storm Gray, and Pure White.

How much weight can the ProRack hold?

The ProRack can hold 800 lbs. when properly mounted to studs. Please note that if you add a secondary shelf to your ProRack, the entire unit can hold a maximum of 800 lbs combined, the optional rack attachment has a limit of 350 lbs.

Can I add another 4ft ProRack section to an existing ProRack?

Yes, our patented modular design allows you to add more ProRacks whenever the need arises.

Is assembly required?

Yes all of our ProRack products require assembly, other than the hook accessories.

How do you install ProRacks?

Do I have to secure the Bin Warehouse Rack to the wall?

Yes, all Bin Warehouse racks must be secured to the wall for security purposes.

What are Bin Warehouse racks made of?

Bin Warehouse racks are made from PVC.

Where is my hardware?

To find the hardware for the Bin Warehouse Rack, please check inside one of the tubes/ bars.

Are the storage bins included with the rack?

No, the storage bins are not included with the rack. The Bin Warehouse rack comes without the storage bins, and they need to be purchased separately.

How much weight can the rack hold?

Can the cables on the Garage Gator be extended to reach the bottom floor of the attic area?

No, the Garage Gator Lifts are not designed to be an attic elevator.

Can the Garage Gator be installed on a slanted ceiling?

Garage Gator lifts are designed to be installed perpendicular to the ground, otherwise it will not function properly.

What is the weight limit of the Garage Gator?

The maximum weight capacity of the Garage Gator Lift is 220 pounds.
